So here are some pictures of the last time we went and flew kites. Wow! it doesn’t seem that long ago but Landon doesn’t even fit into that hoodie that Davis is wearing.

A little dirt never hurt anyone.

I have missed Utah multiple times for multiple reasons since living here in Oregon. Here’s reason #38 why I miss Utah, My parent’s backyard. Gorgeous Gorgeous Gorgeous! Grass, bark, flowers,  plants, sound of the creek, no peeking neighbors, shading trees, swing set, deck, sand box, pop up tent, and a swing for me to sit on while the boys get rid of extra energy.

Our backyard is more like a dirt pit with a hill. Which just means more work for me (baths, laundry, cleaning toys, finger nail scrubbing).

But whatever makes my little man happy...

Sunday afternoon

Well we decided to go out fishing and roasting hotdogs again with 2 of our favorite people.

It is so pretty in Oregon! This place is like 15 minutes from our house.

How in the world do you go camping with a bolting 2 year old you ask?

Easy…an iPad and a car seat. Good thinking Matt!

Don’t worry he wasn’t in it the entire time, we got smart after about an hour of chasing;)

So here is a funny story. Silly little Davis is starting to pick up on how to be a “real guy”. He saw a squirrel hole and asked me if he could pee in it. I said “sure knock yourself out.”

So we all watched and giggled from behind as we watched Davis and his two cute cheeks start to pee in this hole.

Well we're not sure if he didn’t have enough control or just trying to change things up? but we watched him kneel down as he was still “going” (maybe to help with his aim?) . and then when he stood up and turned around his pants were soaked.

Then he yelled to me, “Mom, I have a little problem.”

Me: “You sure do.”

We are all cracking up at this point.

Davis: “I couldn’t fill up the hole.”

Me (smiling from ear to ear): “Oh, I thought your problem was that you peed all over your pants…”

Davis: “Yeah, that too.”

So we dumped out the diaper bag and made due with fresh undies and a long sleeve t-shirt.

“Oh boy! I am such a great camper”-Davis

We went with Jeff and Christine into the mountains for some good ol’ shooting,  fishing, hot dogs, and smores.

They are such a blast to hang out with!

Christine and Davis played velcro catch. Davis kind of likes her!

Davis was thrilled to tag a long while they went shooting.

Meanwhile, Christine and I took turns chasing Landon.

After the boys came back they realized that Davis had a fish on his hook.

Davis’s very first fish.

He named him Sam-Sam.

Davis was a little nervous

But realized quickly that if Landon can hold it, it must not be too scary.

This moment and the look on his face might of made it into my top five.

Seriously-PRICELESS!

Some thing else great about catching this fish, the campers next to us had been fishing for 2 days straight and had caught nada!

Davis was a little sad when we gave the fish to them.

He thought he would get to keep Sam-Sam as a pet.
